Book Overview

BILL HAS ONE CHANCE TO EXACT HIS REVENGE ON A HOSTILE ALIEN RACE.

LAURA HAS ONCE CHANCE TO STOP HIM.

Bill Taggart has the perfect plan for revenge. The investigator knows exactly who’s to blame for his wife’s disappearance: the Indigene race on Exilon 5. But when he comes face-to-face with the alien responsible, he’s left with an impossible choice. Should he do his job and continue his observation of the Indigenes, or kill the one calling himself Stephen?

Laura O’Halloran has no interest in protecting a dark and desolate Earth from an alien attack. All she wants is off this hellhole planet. But when someone singles her out for special attention at her workplace, she uncovers a shocking secret that could get her killed, a secret that reveals not only the truth about the Indigene race but has the name Taggart all over it.

With a target on her back, Laura may be the only person who can save both races from annihilation.

And Bill Taggart from making the worst mistake of his life...

I like unpredictable books, and this was. However, the story ended a bit abruptly, to continue in book 2. The story made me think of what corporations are doing to the world today, essentially trashing it fast as they can as long as there is power, control, money to be made. It made me see how bad it can get and how far they will go. We are not too far from such a scenario ourselves. Do we want to end up like that? Think about it.

This book was a complete waste of time. It seemed as if it was written by a youngster with an over active imagination.

Very evolved sci-fi read intertwining two separate planets with different characters meshed together to create a completely believable & intelligent design that makes for an original series to read KSW

As a fellow writer, I am jealous. I wish I had thought of this great idea. As a reader, I am thrilled. What a great, fun, book! I can't wait to get the remaining books in the series; And I'll be giving a few of the first book to friends and relatives as gifts this Christmas season.
