Book Overview

The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America. The Constitution, originally comprising seven articles, delineates the national frame of government. Its first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government.

"The United States Constitution" is a living document with the capacity and precedent to be amended such that it may grow accordingly with our great Nation and Democracy. With that said, this version does not include the Amendments and is thus not truly a text reflective of The United States Constitution. With that said, this is a great snapshot of the original document, ratified in 1788.

Word for word of the United States Constitution. Our founding documents were authored by great men. Without this, our nation would have no regulations.

To be fair,a much higher rating than five stars should be available to rate the document that set the standard of governing and changed the world.
