The Internet has generated a large amount of information that is created and shared between individuals and organizations. About the Author
Eldon Y. Li is the university chair professor of the Department of Management Information Systems at the National Chengchi University, Taiwan. He is on leave from the California Polytechnic State University, USA, where he was a senior professor of management and the coordinator of the MIS program. He was the professor and dean of the College of Informatics at the Yuan Ze University, Taiwan; the professor and founding director of the Graduate Institute of Information Management at the National Chung Cheng University in Chia-Yi, Taiwan; and a visiting scholar of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He holds Ph.D. from Texas Tech University, USA, and has published over 100 papers in the areas of human factors in information technology (IT), strategic IT planning, software engineering, quality assurance, information management, and business management. His papers have appeared in numerous publications, and he currently serves as the series editor for a book series, Advances in Electronic Business, published by Idea Group Inc. Timon C. Du is a professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He also serves as the director of master of sciences in e-business management. Dr. Du received a Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Arizona State University, USA. He has published papers in many leading international journals, and is the executive editor of International Journal of Electronic Business and area editor of Web Journal of Chinese Management Review.
